Save our Hut!
Our fundraising campaign is underway. The same initiatives are
being rolled out across the whole group (Scouts and Guides) and you can find more
information about forthcoming events on the
save our
hut page. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter
@1Billingshurst for all the latest announcements.
At 4 December
the total money raised by the events listed on this page
is an amazing

This does not
include money raised from grants, badge sales, BSG challenge
and individual donations so really the total is even higher! Thanks to all that
have supported our save our hut appeal.

The Lions have donated £5000 to our appeal including the
proceeds from book sales at their Jengers Mead shop during
June. We thank them for their ongoing support, RSA
We're grateful to the Parbrook Cub
parents who
work for RSA in Horsham. Their company has matched money raised by them
so the group is now better off by £1000.

The group has benefited from a £25,000
donation from Horsham District Council's section 106 funding pot. This
will allow work on our toilets to be completed.
We are very grateful for all the donations, large
and small, that have been coming in to our Save our Hut fund. We can't
acknowledge all of you on here but every donation makes a difference and
we thank everybody that has been raising money for us. |
